Weekly classes in West Philly Weekly classes start Saturday, September 11 and end Saturday, December 4, with time off for the Jewish High Holidays and Thanksgiving. We will be singing songs from AATW's Caribbean session. Class will take place at Power Yoga, 2016 Walnut Street. Sunday, September 26, 1pm: featuring Cuban Lucumi chanting and the cha cha cha! Sunday, October 24, 1pm: featuring Jamaican Nyabinghi drumming and ska dancing! Sunday, November 21, 1pm featuring the Trinidadian CARNIVAL! COST: $48 per child for all three classes (includes a CD, monthly "featured country" e-mails about the Caribbean and other goodies, sibling discounts available). If you miss a class you can do a make-up any time at the West Philadelphia location. NEW Caribbean hands-on workshop series at the Green Line Cafe, 45th and Locust Join presenters who specialize in Caribbean music and dance for hands-on Caribbean workshops for little kids.
