Announcing Summer 2013!

Schedules vary by location, so definitely check with your teacher for details. Look below for classes in West Philly. Schedules for Fairmount, South Philly, Fishtown/Northern Liberties are available on their location pages. In general, the summer season starts the last week of May and runs until mid August.

WEST PHLILLY with Jay

Wednesday summer classes start on Wednesday, May 29 and go 11 straight weeks, with the last class taking place August 7th

(summer) Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. -- 1-3 year olds (Everything is a Drum)

(summer) Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m.-- 2-5 year olds (U.S. and Canada)

(summer) Wednesdays, 11:30 a.m. -- 1-4 year olds (Everything is a Drum)

(summer) Wednesdays, 12:30 p.m. -- BABIES! One year old-ish and below (U.S. and Canada)

Saturday summer classes start on Saturday, June 8 and go each Saturday until August 10. There is no class on Saturday, July 6th. There are 9 classes in this summer season.

(summer) Saturdays, 10:30 a.m.-- all ages (Everything is a Drum)
(summer) Saturdays, 11:30 a.m. -- all ages (Everything is a Drum)

As for the spring session, spring classes started in early March. The last spring season Wedensday class is on Wednesday, May 15. The last spring season Saturday class is on Saturday, June 1.

SATURDAYS: this is where the fun happens. I'm going to be in and out of town a lot this spring, so we won't have class every Saturday, just most. Also, a couple Saturdays I'm going to be able to teach in the morning but will have to leave Philly at 11:30 to get to family events. So, the bottom line this spring if you're coming on Saturdays...pay attention. I'll be e-mailing you lots of schedule reminders as we go along.

All Saturday classes will be using material from Western Europe and the Nordic Countries. Most weeks class will take place at 10:30 and 11:30 as usual, with a few exceptions.

Here is the schedule for Saturdays. "Regular times" means that I'll be teaching these two classes:

(spring) Saturdays, 10:30 a.m.-- all ages (Western Europe and the Nordic Countries)
(spring) Saturdays, 11:30 a.m. -- all ages (Western Europe and the Nordic Countries)

Here are the remaining quirks:

May 11: regular times
May 18: regular times
May 25: NO CLASS
June 1: regular times

That gets us 11 classes in the spring season.

SPRING SEASON THURSDAY CLASSES at the LONDON GRILL STARTED THURSDAY, MARCH 7 and go 11 weeks until THURSDAY, MAY 16 SPRING SEASON SATURDAY CLASSES at BACHE-MARTIN STARTED SATURDAY, MARCH 9 and go 10 weeks until SATURDAY, MAY 18. There is no class at Bache-Martin on Saturday, March 30th.

SPRING SESSION CLASSES IN CHESTNUT HILL STARTED WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6 and go 11 weeks until WEDNESDAY, MAY 15.
