All Around This World is seeking a SELF-MOTIVATED, ENTHUSIASTIC, ORGANIZED, ACCOMPLISHED EDUCATORS to license the “ALL AROUND THIS WORLD” CURRICULUM and share it with little kids (infants to 9 years old) in school settings.
As an All Around This World licensee, you will have full access to the only-of-it-kind All Around World global music and world cultures curriculum — lyrics, mp3s, song background info, etc. — as well as all the teacher training materials that are available, from manuals to lesson plans to song-by-song teacher “how-tos.” You will also work with All Around This World founder and lead teacher Jay Sand who will provide teaching support.
And this is exciting:
You will not only be able to market yourself as a teacher of the All Around This World curriculum, but you will be able to offer schools the possibility of using All Around This World online materials, including contextualizing background information, sing-along videos and online classes, to keep the kids singing between your visits. While other music specialists provide joy to kids with weekly or monthly visits to classrooms, you will be able to do that and also give the kids the opportunity to sing the same music with Jay on video any time. All Around This World’s deep cultural and musical research and dynamic interactive lessons will give teachers tools that will enhance their students engagement with the material. When you show up to sing they’ll know all the songs!
All Around This World is currently looking for licensees who are already experienced teachers of little kids. Right now we’re not training new teachers from scratch. Though if you’re new to teaching kids and are curious about learning, or aren’t a musician yourself but may be interested in coordinating other teachers, definitely still contact Jay.
As a licensed All Around This World teacher you will be responsible for developing your own relationship with schools — scheduling, pricing, etc. You will pay a licensing fee to All Around This World, but we promise not to break the bank. For details contact Jay.
Formal music training. If you can read music, great! But whether or not you’ve studied music thery you must be able to teach intuitively while remaining enthusiastic, engaging and kind.
