We Pause to Sing About an Elephant

All Around This World Global "Everywhere" map

This week in our online class we take a break from the country-by-country, region-by-region journey of our primary All Around This World seasons to recharge our musical batteries. We do this singing songs that we haven’t heard for a while, or that haven’t yet appeared in our regular weekly classes, just for the fun of singing them. This week we’ll have the chance to go to the fair in India with our favorite elephant, praise our children as the Uighur would, and sing a love song to Hawaii. We’ll also fly around the room like our best from West Africa, celebrate the freedom of France and sing hello in a language you may not have spoken for a while – Eastern Assyrian: Shlamalokhoun!
