Here are a few photos of the Sand Family band performing live on a heat wavy day at the fantastic Dom Bistro in Borgo Grotta Gigante, a neighborhood in the Sgonico municipality near Trieste in northeastern Italy. We and the crowd generally landed in the shade on this sweltering afternoon, and sweated it out together as we DANCED! In the middle photo we’re performing the song “Nahna Wil Kamar,” from Lebanon in the Middle East, in which we are singing about our neighbor, the moon, by raising our arms to the sky.
