I love this. “Lu Me Sceccu” — we call the song “O My Beloved Donkey” — is a folk song from Sicily about a wagon-driver’s love for his dearly departed donkey. He misses his companion so much that he hears the donkey singing “sweetly” in his dreams. What can be more fun for kids to do in our music class than to sing like a donkey?
