Haiti–Language

Haitian Creloe (Kwéyòl) is the most commonly spoken creole in the world–over eight million Haitians speak it, as do another million or so Haitians abroad. Kwéyòl is a blend of French, English, Taino and African languages. It joined French as one of the nation’s two official languages in 1987.
