The Bahamas–When you go there

Are you going to have fun on your trip to The Bahamas? Of course you are. You’ve booked a trip to The Bahamas because you want to frolic on tourist-friendly beaches where you can soak in the sun (and not worry all that much about the effect tourism has on the islands). In the Bahamas you can sail, dive and swim. You can chase the history of Columbus or withdraw into the world of pirates. Are some Bahamian islands overpriced? Sure. But there will be sun when you go to The Bahamas and, no matter how expensive, you shall soak in it. Besides, as Lonely Planet.com notes, The Bahamas are composed of 700 islands and 2400 cays. If you can’t find a way to have fun when you have access to 700 islands and 2400 cays…well for golly’s sake, how many islands and cays do you need?

You can also bring your kids to the Bahamas…just get them ready for the no-see-ums.
